Born blind in Chaumont-Gistoux (BEL)
Studied at the "Lemmensinstitute": Flor Peeters (organ), Jules Van Nuffel (gregorian chant), Marinus De Jong (counterpoint)
Finished his studies at the Conservatory at Antwerp.
The same year he won the first prize at an international organ competition at Munich (DEU) playing "Dieu parmi nous".
Titular organist at the Delmotte organ of the "Collégiale Sainte Waudru" Mons (BEL).
He followed lessons with André Marchal and Jean Langlais. At the same he gave concerts in Belgium, France, Germany, The Netherlands and Luxembourg.
He bought his own organ and put it in his church "Divin Sauveur" at Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe (BEL). He teaches the organ at the local music school. He also organises concerts at his organ with Marie-Claire Alain, Pierre Cochereau, Jean Langlais, Gaston Litaize, Flor Peeters, Michaël Scheinder, …
Many of his compositions are edited by Bayard-Nizet.
Paul became honorary citizen of Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe.
Together with Robert Hostyn and Bernard Carlier he gave a recital in the Abbey of Maredsous for his 90th birthday!
